This is hands down one of the best fried chicken restaurants in Tampa. The spices, crispness, and sauces were genuinely unique + The customer service went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience (huge shoutout to my man Duke for the clutch - saved me from an embarrassing moment and made sure we were served well and on time), the ambiance could be a bit better but the service (by Duke and others) outweighed any discomfort :)

It was a busy night of this place. The ordering line was never empty. Their employee handled the situation well. I ordered a number 4. Upon asking the degree of hotness, I was naively thinking since this restaurant calls Dave's hot chicken, I should go for "hot". It turned out 'hot" was too spicy for me. The cayenne chili pepper of the coating determines the degree of spiciness. I was glad I substitute Fry with Kale slaw. Line out the door Juicy tenders Comes with pickle Crinkle cut fries and a piece of bread Fries are hot n crispy We enjoyed the light, mild, but for those with hot loving you can get reaper and let me know bout it. Order at a kiosk and bam lunch or dinner $20 hollar Whew expensive Open late

Dave's Hot Chicken is a new chicken restaurant located in the light gray Chipotle plaza on Fowler Avenue. It has urban decor with graffiti and a primarily red color scheme. They have a relatively small menu. They sell chicken tenders with fries, chicken slider sandwiches with fries, and some sides like mac and cheese along with fountain drinks. Great customer service, restaurant was really busy. Employees were amazing. The fries here are delicious. The chicken was ok had better though. Would come back maybe.

The service workers were smiling and having a good time so that was nice to see despite it being very busy. Super friendly. Good environment. Music wasn't too loud. No drive through but they have indoor and outdoor seating. The location isn't good at all. Parking spaces are for compact cars and there were trucks taking up 2 spaces. Restaurant seems clean. sooo flavourful honestly better than chick-fil-a. food is a bit pricey but it slapped! hot chicken sandwich had like a spicy dry rub but paired with their sauce makes it to die for. will def be coming back

Well well well. I was absolutely blown away with this one. I've heard the rumors and wanted to try it for myself but wow. I'm amazed. It's really good especially the slider and the Mac and cheese. The slider was juicy and the spice kicks the flavor up a notch. The tender by itself was solid but a bit under seasoned. The Mac and Cheese was breath taking. It was nice and creamy and flavored just right. Highly recommend if you haven't already to try this place.

This was a very good and juicy chicken sandwich. I personally don't like pickles in my chicken sandwich's so I just took them out. When I arrived there was a line out the door but it moved fast. I was out there for less than 10 minutes. The inside was really crowded so I choose to sit outside. It was nice out, they have a few tables set up. Sandwich was 8/10 only because there were too many pickles.
