The food was alright. I wasn't anything I'd go back for. The sauce was good but the fries were too salty. Too much seasoning. The service was good. The ambiance was fun but not worth the price of the chicken.

I had heard a lot of hype for Dave's hot chicken, so I was super excited to go, but was a little disappointed. The flavor of the chicken is just the spice, and it was super super greasy. The "toast" was also terrible. It was literally a cheap piece of white bread, and it wasn't even toasted. Other than that the sauce and fries are really good.

Way overpriced, I got the chicken bite meal. I guess it meant the bites were SMALL enough for chickens little beaks to swallow. Also, the meal came with about 12 fries and I added an Oreo topped shake. All for around $20 after tax. Sorry! The chicken tasted good, but horribly overpriced for what you get.

Ive eaten at daves 4 times.. 2 times was hair in my food lake mary restaurant.. 1st in coleslaw.. I spotted right away.. 2nd.. was in sandwich once ate half and fished hair out of my mouth.. .. this is ridiculous. They told me they wear hair nets.. then when arrived to tell them.. there was not a single hairnet to be seen.. this is unacceptable.. and unsanitary

My husband and son have wanted to come here for a while, so we were in the neighborhood, what the heck. I was a bit excited when we walked up after hearing about it.. thinking like it'll be like original PDQ again! As we enter, the place is about half full but completely chaotic. Got the tender and slider combo. The tender had some dry pieces in it and overall the flavor was lacking. Strong paprika flavor but not much more. I got medium spice level and it was more of a mild in my opinion, would've preferred spicier and anticipated it to be hotter. Food is good but customer service is lacking. I arrived to order over half an hour before their posted closing time of 11:00 pm, their "Open Late" sign is on, and yet the door was locked when I arrived. The food might be good but false advertising is not cool!
