Shoutout to Uriel for providing some amazing service! Very welcoming and wholesome staff. Food was pretty good to for a college town. Some nice old-school rock and roll vibes here. A nice place to hang with your friends for a bit and grab a bite to eat after class.
My boy Uriel got me set up right. fast service and great food. would recommend this store anytime.
Service is friendly & prompt. Food is just A-ok for me . Family friendly - loud inside. Overall just 3 stars because of taste of tenders. The heat level is basically amount of cayenne pepper seasoning on food.

Decided to try it out, they just opened in the Tampa area. I got Dave's #3 1 slider 1 tender medium. It was decent I would go back for a slider most definitely. The sandwich was amazing

To start off, the food is amazing and huge! Always good and I'm never unsatisfied! The restaurant itself has a great ambiance! The graffiti is awesome. Now the reason I'm writing this review in the first place is for the service. Specifically Khaleel. He's always here when I come and he never fails to be so sweet, kind, and informative about not only the menu, but the process in general. Khaleel deserves a raise.
The medium spice level is perfect. The hot is pretty high level spice. Not for people with low spice tolerance. The fries were perfectly seasoned and the dipping sauce is the best sauce from any chicken place I've had. Works well with the heat from the chicken because it's slightly sweet. Pickles are huge for the pickle fans out there.
Dave's is the best hot chicken you'll find in Tampa Bay (or drive to Lakeland for the best in Florida at LoveBird Almost Famous Chicken). Of course, it wouldn't be a top 5 Nashville hot chicken sandwich spot in LA. When i lived in LA, I used to go to the one in Koreatown. That was probably 5 years ago. Now Dave's Hot Chicken is expanding across the country. I've even had it in Indiana. Dave's is always consistent across locations. HOLY COW! Don't walk, RUN to Dave's Hot Chicken! I got the #4 which is one slider, YES that is one slider and a side of fries. They give you tons of pickles and a sauce on the side as well. I absolutely loved that. The fries were seasoned to absolute perfection. The chicken was crunchy, crispy, and so flavorful.
