Went here a few time. Went to the website to oder now in monrovia. Sent me to down load the app created my account. Sent my order to another location. Couldnt cancel and took 15 mins to get someone to answer the phone. Never got my refund. When I talked to the manager in the monrovia store he show zero customer service or concern. Will never order through a dishonest company. They justvopen let just close them down.

Dave's Hot Chicken in Monrovia is the third chicken joint to open on Huntington Drive in Monrovia in the last 3 months. I decided I would check it out to see how it compared to the likes of Raising Canes and Chick-Fil-A. To start, each of Dave's combos comes with a combination of tenders and/or sliders. I opted with a 2 tender combo for $12.99 thinking that for the price the tenders should be pretty large. Comparably for $11.99 Raising Canes offers a similar box with 4 tenders. Friendly staff but was so disappointed. Expect to wait a little. My daughter has been on a mission to try every spicy chicken sandwich she can get her hands on and we had high hopes for this one. The seasoning is too sweet and is very paprika forward. My daughter didn't even eat all of it which was unusual. So far Jack n the box is still her top spicy chicken sandwich. The place was also very loud. Not enjoyable to eat at all, but I did love how they decorated it.

The guy who handed me my food seemed nice. The interior looked clean but that's because it's new we will give it time and see. When we walked in it smelled bad like someone had BO or the bathrooms not sure. Took forever to have our order taken and then we sat there for the longest time with other people when we only order one meal. Prices are high, ended up getting one meal to split just because it was a lot. I haven't tried the food yet but first impression wasn't the best. Where do I start. I was so excited to try this for the first time. The 'HOT' chicken, inedible. I love spice, don't get me wrong, but this, too hot to even consider it flavor. The 'Dave's sauce' was ok, but let's face it, I can't just eat sauce. The mac-n-cheese needs a recipe revisit. Dare I say this, but...I might take the blue box over this stuff. We were looking forward to the opening of Dave's HC and eager to try something different. Parking was TIGHT since the spaces are shared with Mimi's Cafe. No drive thru and only dine in. The inside was clean and we LOVE the decor and employee T shirts, very cool. It was not crowded and we were surprised since it's Sunday lunch time and the parking lot was full.
