*First time review, takeout* I was craving some chicken and wanted to try out Dave's. My bf got the chicken sandwich and I got the 10 piece chicken bites. I went with medium spice because I wasn't sure what to expect. Has a light kick but I could definitely handle super spicy and might enjoy that more. I like that they gave me pickles! 7/10 - juicy, nice flavor. Cooked really well just wish it was a tad crispier. I am between a 3 and 4- because my bf said the sandwich is so good I'll definitely try that sometime!

I've been to a handful of Dave's locations in the bay area and in SoCal. I think it's generally not the best hot chicken sandwich I've had, but it gets the job done if you're having the craving (+convenient since there are a handful of locations now). First time trying this new location on Prospect Road, in the Trader Joe's plaza. I got the #2 (2 sliders with fries) as I usually do. It was ready in less than 10 minutes. I like Angry Chickz hot chicken so I was excited to try a similar spot. The chicken sandwich from here is WAY better, no lie. It's a little pricy at almost $20 for a combo (got the #2) but it comes with 2 big a$$ sandwiches plus a good amount of fries. It could really be 2 meals. The service was amazing as we walked in we were greeted profesional by Vanessa, hands up for her service. Food was amazing I got the hot it was delicious and fries were amazing. My side was the Mac and cheese loved it. We will be coming back soon. Thank you

Overall Experience: 6.8/10 The restaurant is located in a plaza with many other shops. The restaurant is new, and although it has a large and bright interior, the food did not live up to what was expected. The food: I got the 2 tender with fries combo at hot hot and extra hot level. Ok, ok, it's not gourmet. IMO Dave's hot chicken is on par with McDonalds, it's a value add fast food but I think that the one thing that separates them and gives them a good chunk of the niche market is that they offer great SPICY food and you don't find a lot of that in a fast food restaurant. If I rated only fast food Dave's would be 5 stars but for respect for people who put hard work and love into their food they get a three. Located on the border of Saratoga and Sunnyvale, parking is plentiful but at peak times spots may be difficult to find. The interior is large and good for medium sized groups. #3 (5/5): medium spice. The fries were perfect. It was crispy on the outside yet fluffy on the inside. The seasoning was a bit light but went well with the sauce. The spice is a good level. Had Dave's for the first time my husband picked it up for us. He said the staff was very nice and helpful, when I got my food the packaging I must say is really cool! My food was hot and had all kinds of sauces on the side to try, I got a mild it was good but I like more spice so next time I'll get hot! The quality is there, and those pickles are super good ! It's pricey , and drinks are sold separately which kind of sucks since each meal is about 19$ but I liked it tho I'll be back to try the hotter chicken !
