This is their opening weekend and there was a line out the door. No parking, I almost gave up . I turned around and came back and waited for a parking spot and I am glad I did. Food was excellent! I've been here twice, and the chicken is very juicy, crispy, and spice flavoring is delicious. Compared to their competitor across the street, Dave's definitely has way better quality and more freshness in their food. Only problem is that since they've been opened, they're so incredibly busy that wait time average is about 40 minutes, and because they're so many people coming, there's not really any ample space for those who are waiting for their orders; this becomes problematic for those who dine in as t... read more
Food is freaking amazing!!!! It’s very busy in here like too busy, they should have more cash registers honestly, the line was wrapped around the restaurant but it went pretty quickly, the food did take a while so we were waiting about 30 minutes after ordering. We waited in our car because there was no where to sit. The young girl who took our order seemed more interested in her co workers than taking orders. Chicken was juicy and delicious and the cheese fries are amazing!
Finally a hot chicken place worth it's salt!! Lots of flavor, not overwhelming (medium heat ordered). The Mac n Cheese was perfect! Didn't taste like it came from a box and the noodles weren't mushy! Staff were ON IT! Definitely going back for more as it's worth dealing with the Short Pump traffic. Hangry Joe's and Hot Chick just lost one here.
I ordered a slider. When I got home and opened the box. There was no tender/chicken inside. There was literally the sauce inside only with the veggies. I had to drive back 15 minutes to get a new slider. I think there needs to be improvement on the attention within the kitchen team
