This is their opening weekend and there was a line out the door. No parking, I almost gave up . I turned around and came back and waited for a parking spot and I am glad I did. Food is freaking amazing!!!! It’s very busy in here like too busy, they should have more cash registers honestly, the line was wrapped around the restaurant but it went pretty quickly, the food did take a while so we were waiting about 30 minutes after ordering. We waited in our car because there was no where to sit. The young girl who took our order seemed more interested in her co workers than taking orders. Chicken was juicy and delicious and the cheese fries are amazing!

Dave’s Hot Chicken - Richmond!!! Hey folks this place ROCKS!! The service 10/10! The food 10/10!! I mean just look at how they plate your FRESH HOT CHICKEN😍😍😍. My family and I enjoyed lunch here today. I mean this spot is FANTASTIC.
I ordered a takeout of Dave’s #1 and added a tender, but I was extremely disappointed with the size of the tender for over $4 when I got home. It was ridiculously small and looked like they just tossed in some scraps from the fryer instead of a proper piece. This feels like a complete ripoff—definitely not worth the extra cost. What a letdown.
