Food was excellent! I've been here twice, and the chicken is very juicy, crispy, and spice flavoring is delicious. Compared to their competitor across the street, Dave's definitely has way better quality and more freshness in their food. This is their opening weekend and there was a line out the door. No parking, I almost gave up . I turned around and came back and waited for a parking spot and I am glad I did. The line went through pretty quickly, faster than I thought it would honestly. Once we got to the register, the cashier was very friendly, and gave us the run down. We got the $9.99 slider and fries. When I entered, the cashier was a bit loud but friendly. I politely requested pickles on the side of my chicken slider and no coleslaw. Upon arriving home, I discovered that both sliders, including an additional one I ordered, contained pickles both on the side and on the sandwich itself, along with coleslaw. We had an abundance of pickles. Aside from that, the sliders and tenders were delicious.
Went to DHC for the first time yesterday. First of all, the place is cool, the shakes were absolutely great and the food was good. HOWEVER, we were just getting charged for things that they end up giving you for free. First of all, they charged 1.50 to put cheese on fries (which they didn't do, so I paid for something we didn't even get and I watched them check the box and missed this). Finally a hot chicken place worth it's salt!! Lots of flavor, not overwhelming (medium heat ordered). The Mac n Cheese was perfect! Didn't taste like it came from a box and the noodles weren't mushy! Staff were ON IT! Definitely going back for more as it's worth dealing with the Short Pump traffic. Hangry Joe's and Hot Chick just lost one here.
