I was really excited to try this location as soon as I heard it was opening. I usually order the same thing, the spicy chicken sandwich with cheese fries, and it never disappoints. A few times, I've received the wrong order, but the restaurant is almost always packed, so mistakes are bound to happen. What really stands out is how well they handle it. They're very quick to correct any issues, whether that means fixing the order or offering something complimentary. Overall, I'd definitely recommend giving Dave's a try!

I'll start with they were busy... and slow. I ordered ahead for a 6p pickup. Ordered around 5-515. Pulled up to run in and grab food... was told to wait 5 min and that it would be up soon. 30 min later, I walked out with my order. Missed my 7p appt so was super frustrated. But that aside, let's get into the food. The chicken is really good. The dry rub has great flavor- but looked like it would be hot. Ordered mild or medium. But after we tasted it- wasn't hot. I sat next to a woman and her probably grandson. They ordered the no spice chicken. It was too spicy for them. Why didn't they go to the bland chicken restaurant? I liked the spice level, I went medium. It took a long time to get my food. It's because the restaurant is successful. If you want hot chicken, I recommend this restaurant.

Tried Dave's Hot Chicken for the first time today. I ordered the chicken bites in medium heat with fries and a vanilla shake with fruity pebbles. I loved the crispiness of the fries and batter on the bites. Medium wasn't spicy at all. Barely tasted any heat on the bites. Staff were super friendly and the restaurant had plenty of seating. I will definitely be back to try their other menu items.

With the amount of these fried chicken sandwiches places that have been popping up all over the place. Does this place compete with the rest of them such as Roaming Roosters and Hangry Joes? The answer unfortunately, is yes. Is it better than the other two I mentioned. Unfortunately, the answer there is no. They're all good. Which is the problem. None of them standout enough. This was my first time here i just happened too see this spot . I decided to stop in and check this cool little spot out . Because it use to be a McDonalds . I luv spicy food so that made it even better lol. I got a #2 extra hot which was the chicken sliders and that spice level was good but I'm going to try the reaper level next time to see if it's really that hot. For it to be that many people to be in the restaurant the customer service was absolutely outstanding too me .

My first time ever at a DHC and I am very pleased! This is a brand-new location and is very nice looking. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious! Welcome to the neighborhood DHC and co.!
