I never been to a Dave's Hot Chicken before but decided to try this place. I got the Mac and cheese which wasn't bad, it was nice. And, then I got the chicken bites. They were mediocre. Like, oddly enough when I got them they weren't as hot. But, idk they just weren't impressive. Who knows. Maybe it's not for me. I love crunchy chicken for sure. But, this place isn't a fav. The staff is nice and it has a nice chicken shop ambiance.

DHC Support Team" Avoid Dave's Hot Mess (not chicken) --------------- 3 feb, still no response from corporate. brett is doing her job but no one else. 99% sure this is my first and last visit to dave's hot chicken! go to popeye's!

Chicken is good. Timeliness is terrible. ordered at 4:41. website said ready at 5:51, 6:07 and not ready. Lousy attention to detail. Orders consistently wrong.

Not the type to write reviews but Dave's really disappointed. Thought food was pretty good but it's the wait. We waited 50 minutes for our food. Not acceptable at all, I even waited for them to get situated instead of going on opening day.

I knew better than to try this place because I didn't like it many years ago when I tried it the first time. This is the blandest chicken ever. I got the fallout meal which is cute but that's it. I'm disappointed and mad I spent my hard earned money. Nice location though.

Slow, 22 mins waiting for food, and I had to wait about 5-10 more to place an order. Peaking through, I could see that the kitchen is slow to assemble the menu items. Music is too loud. Food is ok.

I put very specific requests on my sliders, and they were completely disregarded. When I went back and explained that I was given exactly what I asked not to have, they just took it to the back and scraped it off. That's not acceptable and definitely not how a business should handle mistakes. If you're going to offer customizations, you need to actually follow them, or at the very least remake the order properly instead of cutting corners. Really disappointing experience.

My first experience with Dave's Hot Chicken was at the Silver Spring Location. Always fast, always fresh. When I heard about this store opening up (much closer to our home), I was really jazzed. Since opening a few weeks ago, I've been there twice by myself and once with my wife (tonight). Tonights visit was really bad. Since I've been talking this place up to my wife, felt pretty badly. Food took 23 minutes to come out so don't think this is quick food. We went in at 3pm on a Sunday and walked up to the register. There is a kiosk to order through, but I don't like using those so I waited for a person to take my order. A guy who was making a milkshake finished what he was doing and came to take my order. We ordered two #2 Slider Meals and a milkshake and a regular soda for eat-in. Cashier gave us a buzzer and we went and found a table.
