I took an aerial yoga class with Evalina- first time trying it but I have an aerialist background. It was really fun and enjoyable! Evalina was so nice and balanced the class between varying comfort/experience levels and gave me a lot of material to challenge myself. The end of class was very enjoyable. She is so kind. Thank you Evalina!

Business response:

Thank you immensely for sharing your aerial yoga experience with Evalina! We're thrilled you found it fun and challenging.

This happy Canadian plans every holiday with a focus on fitness clubs in the cities we visit. DC Ranch Village Healthy Club is absolutely the BEST club we have been to and we return to it each and every year, everyday of our holiday. This trip it was the very first place we went to after leaving the airport. At DC Ranch you will find the latest equipment, incredible helpful and pleasant staff. The facility has more classes than we can fit in during a holiday, incredible steam and saunas, access to bicycles to enjoy th... read more

This facility is beautiful. Membership was about 200$ met month in early 2015. Start up cost over 500$. The best thing about this place was their variety of yoga and the number of yoga classes-hot and regular. Both hot and regular rooms were the best I'd ever been in and I've tried many places in various cities. I'm thinking about re-joining.

Serious fitness buffs should be warned that this is a very family oriented facility. It is not designed for serious athletes. You will be competing with little kids for the racquetball courts etc. The place definitely targets families of all ages. I gave it 3 stars because they don't enforce their own rules about what ages can use the fitness equipment, go on the basketball courts unaccompanied or reserve racquetball courts.

I would not recommend taking fencing lessons here. The instructor, Jim Barbour, can be rude and condescending. During a tournament, he physically placed his hands on a student's head, turned it in different directions while speaking and said, "Did I not tell you to follow these instructions?" He's also made comments to his students implying they were "stupid" and has openly complained about the front desk not following his instructions. This behavior is disrespectful and unprofessional! Overall I've learned more from a goldf... read more

Really clean place , the staff is hot or miss some are very friendly some not so much, they have a lot of different classes all of them are great I love the spin class and the hot yoga personally . The pools are awesome one is for doing laps and the other is for chilling and they have water aerobics, they have a great cafe although the food has dropped off in the last few months maybe due to a staff change so avoid that part but the grab and go and the smoothies are great so are the girls who work up front. The only other do... read more

This is definitely more of a social club than it is a health club! The cardio equipment is fantastic and plentiful while the weight room is more of a joke as it it tiny and gets crowded real fast. I have had some great massages there however I find DC Ranch Health Club and Spa membership to be a very poor value!

Business response:

I am sorry to hear you are disappointed in your membership. We are certainly a social club, yet with over 84,000 square feet we have plenty of room for fitness and other health club amenities. We have several areas in the club for resistance training besides just the weight room. We have a kinesis resistance training wall upstairs with other resistance equipment as well. We also offer several muscle and weight resistance classes to meet our members needs. With all of our fitness offerings, social and golf events and spa serv... read more
