I appreciated a follow up call in reference to my survey. The buyer was not my client and I was able to explain that I would have liked a little more communication. First time a loan officer has responded to a survey to find out what would have made the transaction better for my side.

I would prefer that during the mortgage obtaining process that your loan officer doesn't go on vacation and hand you over to somebody who cannot handle the additional workload. Customer service coupled with high integrity should be your top priority. Unfortunately during this process I lost all faith in the person I was working with and with the company I was getting my mortgage through.

Clearly explaining when and why a change in numbers, with just days left until settlement. I STILL have no idea why our loan cost $3k+ more than what was agreed to on 10/22. I paid $1200 in fees for a service from a company with too little integrity or professionalism to explain what happened. This left a horrible taste in my mouth and when it came down to it, we had no option to change course. I regret my decision to use VanDyk Mortgage and will be sure to recommend friends and family elsewhere

The first house it was a great experience, The second time though felt like we were forgotten and then found out we were forgotten, which put us behind 2 weeks and then had to rush everything. We still haven't received our appraisal money back for the first house and I misled about the points situation on top of getting a 5% apr which I feel is high but we had no choice but to take it since we had no time. In the future we wont be doing business sorry

He was slow, confused, and never knew what he was doing. We had one mistake done after the other. This whole home buying experience was made into an extreme disaster solely because of Denny and this company. My wife and I are still sick over it. Would not recommend
