I loved staying here during Derby week. My room was very comfortable and I made excellent use of the casino and small restaurant within. I ate at the bar several times and the drinks were generous and the food delicious. All of the staff were courteous and accommodating. I had a package deal with Derby City Gaming Hotel which included transportation, tickets into Churchill Downs, reserved seats, drinks and food. It was fabulous and money well spent. Room was noisy with ticking noises (from mechanicals) all night long. Room was clean and comfortable otherwise.

The entrance to the hotel is not clearly marked and there are multiple entrances cause it's also a casino. The room AC did not work great, it stayed at 72 degrees but couldn't get the fans to kick on or AC to come on the room felt stagnant. There are multiple restaurants and bars on property... would have loved a map of where things are. operating Hours of everything are posted everywhere so that's nice. Hotel is very clean and feels very secure. Everything feels nice.
