RecommendedOn my latest emergency visit, xrays showed that my Beagle ate 3 rocks! Fortunately they weren't causing a blockage, but he was in pain. The vets and techs were great...to him and me!
Our girl Free had cancer. We were referred to Dogs and Cats by our regular Vet. The entire experience was superb from the receptionist to the vet technicians to the doctors. They’re the best!!!!!!!!!
They have specialists in various diseases in pets which a "regular" vet would not have the equipment or training to address. My little rescue dog, Bailey is blind and partially deaf, and fourteen years old. He has been quite healthy since I adopted him last year, but in mid-February had a seizure very early in the morning. His vet took x-rays and blood tests, which showed nothing. They recommended some meds which could help prevent another seizure. Just last Sunday I had an emergency with our elder cat Bobby. We sadly had to put him to sleep. I went to this facility and the personnel there were so kind and thoughtful, so caring. I just wanted to say how wonderful they were. Today I received a sympathy card from them. Such a lovely gesture. We are still grieving and this was a supportive surprise. Thank you.
Dr. Arrington and the staff at DCVR were absolutely amazing with the care of my sweet, beautiful orange tabby, Bernoulli. Dr. Arrington’s treatment of his GI disease gave me almost two more years with my baby, and she was there with us this past week through his hospitalization for additional difficulties and the heartbreaking decision to say good bye to him. Just wanted to thank Dr. Arrington and Dr. Harrison and their wonderful staff for helping save my boy's life. They were absolutely wonderful. My boy wouldn't eat months ago and after their rigorous testing they were able to find out he had a gallbladder disease and needed emergency surgery. Well 3 months after his surgery he's back to his old self and has regained his appetite and is actually acting like his old self again. Everything! This ER treated my Hunni as if she was their own! They walked me through the entire process and made us feel safe. We recently had to bring our fur baby to a local ER in Florida, they did not treat us remotely close to how well this organization did, and unfortunately we lost her because of it. Love, passion, compassion, and hope means EVERYTHING when it comes to major surgeries. I should have jumped on a plane and came straight back to this ER. So thankful to have had such an awesome team of vets taking care of my poor puppy after he got ahold of lots of human food and became quite ill. The doctors were very kind and explained everything in detail.
