missing Brother Web Connect to send scans directly to email or cloud w/o desktop The dealbreaker for us is this unit requires an external computer to send scans by email and/or to the cloud. We own a Brother HL-L2395DW laser printer (which we are happy with!) and we hope Brother will upgrade the internals of this portable scanner to have the Brother Web Connect feature just like its laser printers. Compact and light to travel. Compact and easy to use scanner. It’s work nicely especially in a small office space and take it to go.
Great Scanner, software 3 stars The software was a pain to install, Conflicting instructions from Web site and software during install, One says leave unplugged other says to plug in, Software said to reboot, Website said not to reboot until complete, Software would not decompress after download, had to do twice. Run uninstaller before trying again. Very slow lots of looong pauses during setup. Bottom line: Works great, very nice scanner, easy to use, AFTER working thru installing software.

confused I gave this product 3 stars because I may have purchased the wrong item which made it's ease of use very difficult. I was looking for an item similar to the NEAT Receipt system that scans my receipts and automatically uploads and sorts into categories for me. Does this kind of product really exist outside of NEAT? Other than that, I was excited about the product and it didn't take up a lot of space. Really good flexibility.. This is a great office tool. Software and app have small learning curve. At first, connecting wifi, USB or PC all had slightly different capabilities.
Good product but wireless use is challenging I like it but can’t get the wireless connection to work. It has to be hard wired to the computer.
