Good option for Linux Brother has been really great about developing the drivers to use their products with linux. You don't get an actual scanner program like with mac or windows, but the native linux scanner program on ubuntu and suse have no issues finding and using the scanner.
Easy to set up Fairly easy to set up - but I thought I would be able to use it to scan several items into one document.... have not figured out how to do that just yet...
Very fast! Very fast scanning. Make sure you use the included carrier sheet for odd shaped photos, it keeps them straight when scanning.

Frustrating but good scanner. The scanner is not plug and play. Seriously? It is very quirky with the one wifi setting as well. Plugged in however, it scans very nicely and quickly. Meets expectations when connected by cable.
