This could very easily be the best vet in the area. Very caring, professional staff. The vet tech and vet were extremely kind, patient, and gentle with my dog. I was referred here by a good friend and understand why now. Knowing that I do not have to keep looking for a vet is a comforting feeling to say the least. Five stars, no doubt.

The first pet I owned in my early adulthood was in 2001 and I have owned a pet ever since and have experienced veterinary clinics across Hampton roads at least five different locations but this is my first time leaving a review because this location and business definitely deserves it. They communicate extremely well our reasonably priced fair and definitely make me feel like my pet is in great care

New patient and my dog is a pit Bull. We were welcomed with open arms from the moment we walked in the door. The front desk staff and the vet techs that were up front were kind and friendly to my dog and I . The vet Tech we got ( Casey) was sooo friendly and helpful and has pits so she was a valuable resource for us! Dr Mapes was fabulous and I couldn't be happier with how our first visit went. Got some meds and advice and I am so relieved to have found our new Veterinarian!

A huge THANK YOU to LISA who took my frantic call about Roxy. She was so kind and caring and took the time to explain the expert advice DR. CAMPBELL had for our 15 year old Shitzu. I know that day will come but for now Roxy is thriving again after her seizures. The staff at Edinburgh are amazing. Best Animal Hospital in Chesapeake!!

Again I revisited Edinburgh animal hospital. Jane is the assistant is great she contacts you and Follows up with your pet.! Love it she looks at a video that you send of the problem and contacts speaks to the Vets at the hospital & they get back with me ASAP. Love Jane she is what makes me stay with this animal hospital. Dr Campbell and Dr. M are really good.

We started using Edinburgh because it was closer than driving to VB for Bay Beach. We got the bonus of using Bay Beach for emergencies which was nice. Over the years we have seen most of the doctors here and have found each to be kind, considerate and compassionate. They have taken care of all 4 of our dogs and we could not ask for better care and service from the front desk, vet techs and doctors. These people love our animals as much as we do and it shows. Love this office and the people there.

I just moved to the area and needed a local veterinary clinic to take my 2 cats to. I started researching on yelp to see the most recommended places were. I found Edinburgh Animal Hospital in my search and was surprised by the reviews. This location isn't exactly close to home but it was worth the drive. I was pleasantly more surprised when I called to make an appointment and the receptionist, Casey, was so welcoming and sweet. I loved that she referred to my cats as "the kids". When we moved out here we continued to see our vet in Norfolk because of the great care we always received from them. Honestly, if we still lived in Norfolk, we never would have left Carpenter and Pope but when routine vet visits took 2 or more hours in travel and office time, it was time to make a switch. The stress that the traveling put on our furbabies required a search for a closer doctor.
