Dr Campbell has been treating our fur babies for 22 years. We wouldn't entrust our dogs to anyone else. In fact, we have followed him to 3 different practices in the that time. Dr. Campbell is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable and never appears to be rushed. The staff at Edinburgh is always friendly and helpful.
I have had so many fur children, I feel the need to have them treated in a professional manner, BUT I also want the family feeling, as well. We definitely receive this from Dr. Campbell and his wonderful staff. Bay Breeze Labradors plus one wire haired doxy, love coming in. I never have to drag them through the door. They love it here.
Admittedly Edinburgh is our pets primary health care provider but it may not be yours so I'll try and give an unbiased evaluation based on our history. The Good: Clean and professional looking office with veterinarians that don't mind making a phone call or staying a few extra minutes to discuss our pet's lab results or (possible) procedures. The Vet Techs are equally as pleasing to deal with and very gentle and personable with the animals. Prices are comparable to other veterinarians in Hampton Roads so no complaints there... read more

I love, love, love this vet practice. I started coming here when Dr. Campbell first opened up. He is so compassionate and caring, and cost conscious for the patient. We now have seen his associate and are also very pleased. Patience is a virtue and the whole staff displays this. We have taken several issues here with various issues and have even had one that passed. The care and empathy were sincerely appreciated. 'Never waited long for an appointment, never a complaint. 5 stars!
I have been very happy with the 3 years we have been taking my pup Daisy to EAH to see Dr Campbell. He and his staff are always willing to answer my questions, which were many when I had a new puppy. After visiting every vet in our area, they were the most welcoming and I have not regretted my decision!
I first met Dr. Campbell when he was just beginning his career and was with another vet hospital in Virgina Beach. When I found out that he had opened his own practice in Chesapeake I decided to make an ap[pointment there for my two dogs, Bou & Buddy. My review is based on the two services they offer. I wish I could give 3.5. MEDICAL: If I was just writing about their Vet services, I would give them four stars. They are great with my dogs. If I have a question, they do their best to answer everything over the phone without the need to come in and get charged a visit. They do not make you feel rushed. Never had a problem. This is a wonderful vet practice. The front office staff is very nice and helpful. It is clean and well maintained. The Drs. there, Dr. Campbell and Dr. Hohmann are both great. They really care about the animals, are not rushed, they do not talk down to you and they are reasonable in in pricing. What more can you ask for?
The first thing I would like to say is that I have been a client of this practice for approximately 10 years. I live about 40 minutes away from their office but have always made the trip for the good care my pets have received. The practice has started using a third-party appointment system.
