Community living has been difficult going through Covid times. But overall, my mother-in-law is enjoying it when things are open. She definitely likes being around other people, and she likes the other residents. Activities have been shut down most of the time she's been there, but when they opened up for a couple of weeks, she seemed to really enjoy them. Our tour with Elmcroft was great, it is a nice facility but my friend was looking for someplace that was strictly for independent living.
I did not like this facility as much. It seemed not as good as the facility I went with. It reminded me more of rehab than independent living.
This community was great. This community would have been my first choice it was just too expensive. This place was absolutely gorgeous.
The community is currently on lockdown due to covid. they are trying hard to keep us safe. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.
I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The entry way is beautiful and community is friendly. The food has been above average when we have had a chance to eat with my loved one.
I really liked Elmcroft of Pinecrest. They were in my top two, and I had a hard time deciding. They have a nice walking area, and I really liked the nursing facility, the layout, and all the activities they had. But it felt like many of the other assisted living facilities in the area - they house several different care levels in a big, multi-floor facility with elevators.
