I was here after a knee replacement. Please don't even leave your dog here. At night when I had to go to the bathroom, I would ring the bell and no one would come. It took at least an hour to get someone to come. They would rather throw you in a diaper and not be bothered. not that it's a big deal but the food was horrible. The day shift was very nice but the night crew was a nightmare. I left after three days because I could not stand it. If you are reading this review, take this as a sign that you should pick literally any other rehab. Your insurance gives you options for a reason and friends don't let friends go to Encompass. Staff seem miserable there. They are often complaining about other patients in the hallways and rooms. Food is usually cold and orders are incorrect. Call bells go unanswered. They seem to just want to funnel people in and out instead of actually providing needed care. Most of the staff have only been there a few months and don't kno... read more

I don't even have words for the lack of competence, empathy, and honesty that this place provides! It's demoralizing and quite frankly on the verge of negligence and malpractice! My grandmother's rehab caseworker Brenda Norman, made our lives a living hell with constant misinformation and lies to cover up the fact that she wasn't doing her job and the rehab made a critical error in processing her insurance information. My grandmother was at the rehab facility in early 2022 and the only reason that I waited this long to post... read more

Not what was 'sold' to us... My mother was admitted in November of 2021 for rehab to help her balance and strength after a fall and was transferred there from the hospital. When we spoke with admissions they were selling the facility, the food, the private rooms, and yes the care. We were happy to have her in a 'competent' facility and looked forward to her recovery. We were also told that her stay would be from 2-3 weeks based on what she needed and that Medicare covered these costs...NOPE. Although Medicare did cover t... read more

The nurses and Physical Therapy were very good. It is very clear that they only want the best for the patient and we fought very hard to get as much PT as possible. They showed much patience when needed, came up with unique strategies for each case, and set expectations accordingly. The business of Encompass is quite horrible (entirely offsetting any gains by the nurses and PT). It is clear that their priority is the relationship with the insurance companies and Encompass' profit margins. The patient care is a VERY DIST... read more
