I'd read their rehab is awesome. However, my elderly relative never had an opportunity to get in, despite his excellent medical insurance. Encompass posed many restrictions on admissions and never contacted our insurance company despite we provided all recent hospital records and we knew our insurance would support this. I spent a lot of time on it, and was disappointed. I learned it was better use of our time to just hire a private physical therapy team, and that is what I did.

I highly recommend Encompass for anyone looking for inpatient rehab. My grandmother had a large stroke and was recently admitted for 3 weeks. Upon arrival she could not move her entire left side and is now able to walk with a hemi-walker and has gained independence in many areas. The PTs, OTs, and speech therapists were amazing and I cannot recommend them enough for recovery. We were hesitant about picking Encompass due to many reviews flagging nursing concerns. What can I say - my dear friend - had a stroke. Went out to make sure he was okay. Enjoyed the visit and my mind was at peace - when I found him eating lunch in the dining room. He was happy and so was I . The place was clean - the staff caring and was impressed with the physical therapy team. He's recovering at home. Hopeful, he will have a rewarding recovery.

I recently spent 8 days at encompass rehabilitation, fractured pelvis and ribs, when I got there I could barely transfer from w/c to the bed without assistance. 5 days later I was independent with my walker in my room, the PT and OT are excellent, they mean 3 hrs. a day of therapy, they get you moving heading for discharge. The staff could not have been more attentive or kinder to me, each person I encountered from the case manager, RN s , food service employees were always pleasant, I can't recommend this rehabilitation cen... read more
