My aunt has been staying at the home for the past three weeks for respite care, and we have been very pleased with her experience. From the outset, both the Business Manager and Care Manager have been extremely helpful, approachable and supportive, which has made the whole process much easier for us. Mum has been a permanent resident at Engelberg Care Home for six weeks, following on from a respite stay. She had been living independently in the family home until an admission and lengthy hospital stay resulted in this no longer being possible. After extensive research and a very informative visit, we felt that the pleasant environment and good facilities at Engelberg would be somewhere we would feel confident recommending to Mum. Sally and the team are informative, kind and caring about their residents. Facilities especially the food are excellent. When dad moved to Engelberg we thought he may not reach his 90th birthday as he had not been stimulated at the previous home. Now he looks great and was made to feel very special on his 90th ! It's certainly a home I do not mind visiting.

On behalf of my family we are extremely pleased with the care, consideration and attention given to our sister. During some recent health problems including chest infection, nora virus, nose bleeds and more recently high blood pressure readings, she has received extra care delivered with kindness. Engelberg is a charming, clean mid-sized retirement facility built into a beautiful edwardian home in Wolverhampton. Staff are hard-working, gentle and caring with a good attitude, under efficient management. Food is good, with tasty healthy menus alongside traditional fare. Daily activities and regular outings are part of the package. I trust Engelberg to take good care of my mum in her remaining years.

My mum has been a resident for around 5 weeks now. She has no previous experience of care services or residential care and was living independently until her admission to hospital. She has settled in very quickly considering and all staff have been understanding and supportive. Mom has enjoyed the activities so far and particularly looks forward to meal times! My 92 year old mum moved into Engelberg care home after realising that she needed to be looked after. She choose Engelberg as she had a couple of friends who lived there. She was welcomed from the off. The staff are very friendly and the care home caters for many different stages of life. It is very well equipped home. There's a variety of activities laid on twice a day. Mum can choose to stay in her room, or join the activities. Mums mobility is poor and she relies on a wheelchair. Mom decided to move into Engelberg when daily living became a little more challenging in her own home. This was a massive transition for her but she was welcomed immediately by all staff, well looked after and safe and as a family we were also very well supported. Sadly, this was all too short a stay but during her time there Mom enjoyed the wide range of activities offered to residents and staff were very supportive of her individual needs and included her in all activities as far as possible.
