Lousy product Illustrated with a beautiful color finish. Starts to fad day after installation. Nice color at time of application. Starts to fade at sun up next day. All color gone in 90 days My deck looks worse than the. “ before” picture they show in advertisement. Should never be used on treated lumber. They knew my deck was built from treated lumber. Should NEVER use this product on treated lumber. Offered for them to use pictures of my deck in their advertisements. So far not receptive. No morals . No ethics. Responsible... read more

Business response:

Our product is a penetrant that protects your wood against rot and decay. Our product is not a visual product and has no color within it. The color you saw immediately after installation is just the wood being wet. All of this is covered by our sales team during the in home demonstration as well as the install team after the installation. This is also covered on our contract and our Understanding of Wood documents both signed during the sales process. Now that your wood is treated you can add a stain or paint if that is your... read more

RUN!!!! Their "spot test" REMOVED my existing overlay and coloring and went right down to the bare concrete. Will have to repair as it is unsightly and compromised the integrity of the surface. Had no idea they were putting solvent on my patio and the bad part is , it is a major spot in a high traffic area. No apology, no admission, no follow up...Find another way!!!

Business response:

During our sales presentation it is necessary to do a test spot to see if our product will remove your existing stain or sealer as it is necessary to get to the bare wood or concrete to provide our service. This is all covered by the sales manager who visited your home prior to moving forward. In this case you were present at the time the test spot was applied and approved the location the test spot. This test spot did not cause any damage to your actual concrete in any way. If you have any additional questions please feel f... read more

I do not recommend purchasing ever seal deck sealing services. They stated they could remove the existing stain and apply ever seal. They only was able to remove about 70% of the stain. Ever Seal came out for a second attempt to remove the existing stain and did very little fix the issue. Do not waste your money with this product. I am very disappointed

Business response:

Hi *****, We always strive for 100% removal of previous stains/topcoats on our deck projects. This is not required to properly seal your deck. This is covered and signed off on in our "understanding of Wood" document that you signed and received a copy of during the sales process. As a courtesy we did return a 2nd time in an attempt to remove more of the stain.

Do not Recommend this product. We purchased a new home in September 2020. I wanted to Protect my Drive Way Concrete from Stains and Cracks. June of 2021 the Ever-Seal concrete sealer was applied by the 242 W. Main St. Suite 311, Hendersonville Location. October 13, 2021 my truck had a transmission hose fail and it leaked a lot of fluid on the concrete. To their credit they did come out when I requested Warranty Service. Someone came on 10/29/21 to service my driveway. The treatment on that visit DID NOTHING TO REMOVE THE STA... read more

Business response:

Hi **, As mentioned Ever-Seal did make every attempt to remove your stain. We went above and beyond to remove the stain. Many of the statements you made are just not true. You mentioned that your contract stated "My contract says the Ever-Seal Top Coat Sealant creates an invisible barrier on concrete that INHIBITS THE PENETRATION of acids, oils, and other harmful substances." Ever-Seal Top Coat Sealant is an ad on product that is sold separately form our penetrating concrete sealer and not what you purchased. This is not men... read more

The products supplied by this company are temporary at best.Their advertising is totally false. They need to address their shortcomings. In January 2021 I had Ever-Seal treat my deck. When done it looked great. For about two weeks . Then the fading started to show. In 90 days the deck was completely bleached out. To make matters worse my deck was built with treated lumber which looked great by itself.I wanted color. These shysters promote colour. 25 year guarantee. Should be changed to 25 DAYS. After the deck bleached out my fa... read more

Ever-Seal coated my north side limestone deck 10/21. Salesman Tim L***** addressed my concerns about algae growth at the purchase. Because my deck is north facing, there is not all day sun, so algae grows on the surface. Tim L***** assured me that if algae grew, it would wash off with a hose because the product penetrates the stone and would not allow algae to root in the porous surface due to the product seal. After a year the algae is abundant and will not wash away with a hose. THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK AND IS INEFFECTIV... read more

Do not recommend… Maybe this product is good for wood. My concrete has not returned to its original state as marketed and sold. They pressure sprayed some paint off a wall in my garage and pressure washed paint off my front stoop columns, but it states they don’t fix or repair their wrongdoings. I’m somewhat disappointed that the branding did not match the end result… especially after 3k down the drain. Now my concrete has different colors of white and gray when it rains. Update response to everseal’s ******review: Please se... read more

Business response:

We were hired to clean and permanently seal the clients concrete. This is what we did. From the before pictures, it is obvious that quite a bit of red clay was mixed into the concrete when it was poured which can dye the concrete and leave a discolored appearance. There is nothing that we or anybody else could do for this short of repouring the concrete correctly or staining it to color over the blemishes. We clearly state that lose or chipping paint in the area could be removed during the cleaning process. We are using prof... read more

I called up the people in Raleigh NC, they came out and gave me a quote to strip my deck and seal it. Over 5k total. I pay half. They come out on the date they said they would. June 8th. Said they will be done by the end of the day with the striping and the sealing. 4 hours later and the deck is not stripped and the places they did strip are damaged. Wood is cracked, frayed, pealing. They damaged my siding, doors and down spouts. The machine broke and the guy left to help someone else. So 2 hours later. 2 people show up and ... read more
