Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with Evergreen Gas. We called them out to diagnose our gas fireplace that didn't work well and a furnace that had stopped working completely. They charged us several hundred dollars for the visit. They wanted another $1,200 to install an expensive part on the furnace, which after researching I found out was about $500 more expensive than if we used another company. It was very overpriced. I am letting you know I was rudely mistreated with terrible accusations n verbal abuse against me by the owner of Evergreen Gas. I needed service by the company for a bad Compressor. I waited 3 weeks for service. I called company's service manager serveral times. He knows me cause I bought my Byrant HVAC from him apprx $6500 plus five years ago but he ignored my plead for help in very hot weather. Our gas stove needed service so we called Evergreen Gas. They came out and advised that we need a new part that cost $895 plus labor. I called around to check pricing and found the EXACT same part number for $160 at Haven Spa and Gas. I called back Evergreen Gas to ask why the same part cost so much more. They said they had to pay for overhead and salaries of their employees so they mark up their prices. I was shocked and they were very rude. Evergreen installed the Bryant HVAC system of my new house, built in 2019, and I ran into a problem with the air conditioner not cooling in April 2021 so it had only been through one summer of use. I did not choose them to install it, the developer that built my house did, but I figured since they did the install they would know the most about it or have it covered under warranty. What I expected: to hire Evergreen Gas Heating and Cooling to fix my gas furnace. It seems they have a lot good reviews. What they did: cleaned the burner part and the furnace worked. I paid $340 for a furnace diagnostics and a maintenance. The service includes filter changed but I got to bought filters from Amazon and changed them myself because their technician didn't bring right filters. This business charges extremely high for their sevice and materials. For 10 minutes of time just installing cables their charges are highly ridiculous. Freon to charge my AC compressor each pound charged me for $100.00. I checked price on line is only $3 to $8. Spent nearly $800 which I was very unhappy and for the above reasons, I'll be a one time customer

Unfortunately, this is a situation where we were fully up front about our pricing, provided a quote for repairs, applied multiple discounts, and in the end the customer was unhappy with the price. Do NOT call these people unless you're big on lousy customer service and being overcharged. To add insult to injury, the gas fireplace they "fixed" in March stopped working shortly after we began using it this season. Same exact issue.

My original service date was changed and that's why there was a $75 credit. The bill was $380 for ones hour worth of work. Yes, I paid $305 and that's still incredibly overpriced. I didn't hang up on the supervisor. We were disconnected and then re-connected. The fact is the supervisor wasn't listening. Our supervisor tried to talk about pricing but was hung up on twice and unable to finish the conversation. I'll give this company a 4 on their actual service component, but a 1 on their communication! After an unsuccessful repair appointment due to a part that didn't fit! I was told by the young man doing the repair that they would attempt to order a new part, and the office would keep me informed as to what was happening!
