I have used this particular location 3 times in the last 3 years! That should say a mouthful. I keep coming back! It's a no hassel experience to get a storage space when you need, to use it, and to exit out of the storage space when you are done. The staff has always been helpful and friendly (they keep great files and even remember me by face), and when you are under the stress of a move, using Extra Space storage is a relatively stress-LESS experience. I just moved across country to Atlanta and went from a 3br house to a studio here. So, some storage space was in order. As with many purchasing decisions these days, I consulted yelp for help. Well that's it. I'm here, in Atlanta, and I'm never moving again. Ever. After the disaster with Smartbox and the relative ineptitude of In and Out Movers, I was really thankful to come across Extra Space Storage: the only business involved in my move for which I can give a good review. I used Extra Space for a few months during an out-of-town internship. The temperature-controlled facilities were always ice cold and reasonably priced, and when I got back into town, all my junk was safe and sound. There are plenty of dolly carts available to use, the place is very clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. The only downside about this place is that you can get locked out in the middle of a transport if you work too close to closing time. After just a few months my rate was increased by over $100 a month due to "market conditions"...$210 up to $360 in 4 months! Yet, the same size unit is still offered at the price I originally I signed up for just 4 months ago. Ultimate bait and switch! Or, the "market conditions" only changed for my particular unit since units of the same size are still listed and advertised at my original price before this obscene rate increase. I would caution anyone who is considering doing business with the company. They will quo you a price and then increase the amount by $70 ra month. I'm a retired Amy veteran living on a fixed income and I feel cheated by this company. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable company. This company is not the right company for a senior citizen like myself. just say no!

My rent went from $260 to $346 within a matter 3 to 4 months. After speaking with the manager, they decrease it to $308. However, I was told that my account would be reviewed again at the end of the year and there was a possibility that my rent would increase again. I just moved my belongings to a different storage facility that was cheaper and my monthly rent would be the same for the first year. I will NEVER rent from Extra Storage again and I will NEVER recommend anyone to rent from them.

Please think twice before using this place for storage. They increase your rate TREMENDOUSLY every few months. The rate they give you when you sign up initially is a scam. I have been there 7 months and have had two rate increases. This second increase was the last straw I am discontinuing my business with them. I wish I could give no stars, even one star is too good.

Rats ate holes in my stuff. Rat shit everywhere ate through my couch and all my baby's stuff I had to throw away-- piss and holes I moved out and they charged me another month for leaving a couple things. I couldn't make it back in time to get it out because I was out of town. Now I am in collections Don't mess with these guys.
