I have used this particular location 3 times in the last 3 years! That should say a mouthful. I keep coming back! It's a no hassel experience to get a storage space when you need, to use it, and to exit out of the storage space when you are done. The staff has always been helpful and friendly (they keep great files and even remember me by face), and when you are under the stress of a move, using Extra Space storage is a relatively stress-LESS experience. I just moved across country to Atlanta and went from a 3br house to a studio here. So, some storage space was in order. As with many purchasing decisions these days, I consulted yelp for help. Well that's it. I'm here, in Atlanta, and I'm never moving again. Ever. After the disaster with Smartbox and the relative ineptitude of In and Out Movers, I was really thankful to come across Extra Space Storage: the only business involved in my move for which I can give a good review. I used Extra Space for a few months during an out-of-town internship. The temperature-controlled facilities were always ice cold and reasonably priced, and when I got back into town, all my junk was safe and sound. There are plenty of dolly carts available to use, the place is very clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. I was with Extra Space for two years. I had three lockers, and they doubled the prices of all three lockers over time until I was paying the price of an apartment per month. A big rip off. They possess people's belongings if they don't pay, so be careful. I also am left with the impression that they may not treat their staff well - they fired one honest and helpful Staff person; I felt bad for him because I didn't have the impression he deserved it and because he worked hard. do not rent from this company the offer low rates and after a couple months they almost double the montly rate. terrible customer service, never return calls, answer email or chats. very, very unprofessional. seek storage needs else where!!!

Our unit on Northside flooded with raw sewage. Biohazard. We had to ask for gloves and masks. We saw others in their units trying to salvage what they could and it's no personal protection. E. Coli anyone? Building clearly not maintained. Management not responsive. Biohazard crew was more helpful. Avoid this company. Putting your stuff and your health in danger otherwise!

After just a few months my rate was increased by over $100 a month due to "market conditions"...$210 up to $360 in 4 months! Yet, the same size unit is still offered at the price I originally I signed up for just 4 months ago. Ultimate bait and switch! Or, the "market conditions" only changed for my particular unit since units of the same size are still listed and advertised at my original price before this obscene rate increase. I would caution anyone who is considering doing business with the company. They will quo you a price and then increase the amount by $70 ra month. I'm a retired Amy veteran living on a fixed income and I feel cheated by this company. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable company. This company is not the right company for a senior citizen like myself. just say no!
