Friendly staff. Expensive rates that increase substantially after about 8 months. Mandatory insurance unless you prove you have your own. I followed the staff's instructions on how to provide proof of insurance through your provider (USAA) but they claimed to not receive it. I had USAA attempt to send the proof via email and fax 3 times but they said they didn't get it. Meanwhile I was across the states training... I've had my storage unit for over a year now and one thing I don't like about this company is that they increase the monthly rent every 5 months. I've tried to get a clear explanation as to why this happens but it still didn't make any sense to me. I've moved all of my things twice now to save some money and now I'm just hoping that by the beginning of next year I won't need a storage place anymore. The management isn't bad, but nothing spectacular. I've had my unit for less than a year and have experienced 2 big increases in rent and was paying more than double when I decided to move my things. The increase notices would state it was for insurance which should really be determined on the value of the items stored, which for mine would be minimal. There are storage spaces for quite less and closer to where I live now I'll be using.

Very nice lady at the front counter when you go check in... But horder man 5 stalls down from me literally lives there...he's got 2 stalls and they are NO JOKE filled from top to bottom, front to back.... he pulls out a chair and just stares at his stuff. Little creepy, but he does wave when I go by, so, it's ok...not a-ok, just ok.

I will never again go to extra storage. They are not military friendly at all. I set up a storage unit at this place with the 'guarantee' that I'll get 15% discount. Didn't happen. And it's insanely over priced.

Under the current management here, I would strongly suggest that you store your belongings at another facility. I own a small business locally and have rented a space on this property for about 8 years to store my equipment. As of November 2011. I no longer rent a unit on this property. In my opinion, the facility is poorly managed. The previous manager never had any problems with vandalism, theft anything and at the time I was very happy to rent a storage space here. Perfectly normal storage facility, nothing special... But the experience I've had there has been pretty frustrating. There have been numerous clerical errors resulting in me being locked out of my own storage space again and again. I'm looking to get out altogether to avoid the cost of a storage unit, but I would not come back here, and I would not recommend it.

Just an update from my prior review... the marketing dept. DID make it right and sent me a $50 Gift Card, so I appreciate that. Bob is worthless so don't take his word for anything, but kudos for the company making up for his lack of follow thru. Thanks...

I WILL BE MOVING MY THINGS VERY SOON!!! THEY INCREASE RENT EVERY 4 MONTHS EVEN FOR GOOD CUSTOMERS! Granted, they have been giving my a break on the regular increases because I pay on time and am a good customer, but here I am again faced with yet another rent increase and of course this time I have to accept it. OH AND I JUST FOUND RAT POOP AND A CIGARETTE BUTT IN MY STORAGE UNIT! IM NOT HAPPY!
