After talking to three other storage facilities, I was given a space that was twice what I needed for a fraction of what the other places wanted. While it's not the grandest place in the world, the price and friendliness of the office manager made my decision easy. I also got a friend a referal credit for mentioning his name.

Oh, yippee-i-o-ki-ay, yippee-i-o-ki-ay". If it were a pizza I'd order an extra large every day. These guys have it going. Would you believe this is my first experience using a storage facility as I actually disagree with storing stuff you never use but I find the need to empty the house while work is being done before staging and selling makes more sense so I walked in a "Storage Virgin". If I could put a negative infinity, I would. This is the second time I have submitted a review, the other one never appeared. Interesting. Our unit was broken into back in July of this year. And while there is an open investigation, I can get no one from the corporate offices to address the incident. By the way, there are 13 (thirteen to date) open cases of burglary at this location going back to at least May of this year. Storage unit was broken into. Lock was cut off by someone and thousands of dollars worth of items were stolen. Security it not good, cameras inadequate. They could not tell me who did this. Not to mention rental rates were increased every 6 months sometimes by over 50%. I would not recommend this place.

TOTAL SCAM! Do NOT use this facility. You will regret it for the rest of your life. They increase your rent by 35% as soon as they can!! Read all the reviews - they do it to every body. It is insanity. I will be moving my stuff out ASAP! I have never seen anything like this in my entire life. Absolutely no shame! I really don't know how these owners sleep at night knowing they are robbing their customers. How can they possibly think this is okay?? One word: karma!

I have had storage at many different storage facilities, but I've never seen a company that raises the rates more often than ExtraSpace. They think because you've moved in, they've got you over a barrel, and you're not going to leave. Well, I've got news for them. I'm pulling all of my units out of ExtraSpace. They bait and switched me AFTER I moved my entire home into a storage unit. I was quoted $120/month and then 3 months later they changed the rate to $196/month. Moving ALL my stuff out of my unit into another unit would be very expensive as the movers Tetris'd everything into my unit. I wish I had a contract with them because I regret moving into their storage space. I guess this helps them become the billion $ business they are.

Break In & hundreds of dollars worth of items stolen Storage unit was broken into; someone cut the lock and stole an expensive flatiron, women's clothing (mostly dresses), a small power drill and other items. The manager claimed it was an older gentleman who gets confused about which unit is his, he was seen on video that day but they did not want to speak to the renter about it or "point fingers". One star because you cannot put zero, The worst you can find in Palm Springs There are scammers, they double my rent after three months pretending " this is business" the poor manager should learn what really business is Pathetic experience, and for the new price they were asking, I found a much better storage with AC and 3 times bigger
