do not trust your stuff here only store trash because that's how they treat your stuff, how can this even happen, you get storage so this doesn't happen. So I came to our storage and it has mold rats or mice have eaten my stuff and it's covered in rat crap and spiders and spider webs. Talking to Maria Garcia in my opinion is truly painful. It's like listening to a broken record of a monotone, rude person, with a major attitude. I've never listened to someone more repetitive in my entire life. Clearly she is losing customers for this business. She must have a very nice boss because if she was one of my employees, I would immediately remove her from having anything to do with customer service, and relocate her to janitorial services. just noticed a bill thats increased by over 1/3 from last month. I pay on time and don't see any notice of the increase via email. Let'a hope this is just a mistake in their billing dept because often, when we put our belonging in storage, its not as though it's easy or even possible to move things out again quickly if they hike the rates. I'll be calling next week to see if I can get this fixed. If I could leave Extra Space Storage zero stars I would. What started out at looking as a positive interaction with the lady behind the desk turn sour really quickly. When my wife and I entered the office my wife commented that Extra Space storage had their competition right next door. The lady behind the counter replied "they actually aren't our competition." They need to offer the option of 0 stars just for businesses such as this. The facility is not terrible but the staff is extremely rude and disrespectful for absolutely no reason. I came to help a friend move and was greeted by Maria the manager on site. She seemingly hates her job and finds joy in making peoples lives more difficult. 10/10 for horrible customer service. Employers be cautious of Maria she is a danger to your company.

There is always a terrible smell at this location and during the summer months the stench is nauseating. The bathrooms are NEVER available and honestly that is super annoying and inconvenient. They are NOT on top of their security lighting. It's obvious someone doesn't change the timers to account for fall/winter hours. They will only give you 30 days notice before they increase the rent and it might be up to $60 more per month. Im counting down the days till I can close my unit and move my stuff somewhere else.

I was almost a customer. Almost. Then they played Bait and Switch. I had conversations with both Maria one day and with Dominique on the day I was supposed to finalize the reservation. While I was asking questions about insurance and locks, after returning Dominque's call, she suddenly had "a problem" with my reservation. DO NOT RENT HERE!! They will STEAL your money and raise rates without telling you! We rented here for 6 months and did not have a problem until month 4 when all the sudden our rate jumped up $20 and then move out when we were charged the entire months rate for being there only 9 days. We had submitted our move our request PRIOR to them charging us as stated in the contract, and they claim that they processed it two days before.
