Been renting multiple units here for over 5 years. The current management team is great. I promise you will not find a more helpful staff and you will not find a cleaner climate controlled building. They have been more than fair with me and know me by name when I walk in. -It's month to month and there are increases... but this company allows you to lock in a rate if you agree to pay ahead... most do not. My wife searched the internet for reputable storage companies and Extra Space Storage came up with very high ratings for very good service at reasonable prices. We had to come back to the USA suddenly from an overseas assignment and we needed place to store some of our air freight items that will not fit into the small apartment which we are renting before going back overseas again. I needed to rent a storage space in Pittsburgh and was told I could take care of the paperwork at a facility near me. While I only saw the front office, it was clean and well organized. I had to change dates several times and every staff member was professional and helpful. One employee even called the Pittsburgh facility to make sure their procedures conformed to the ones I was being given in Shirlington. Based on my experience I highly recommend them.

Fast and courteous service at a reasonable price. My wife and I needed a temp storage unit until we are able to move into our new place and Extra Space was conveniently located at a reasonable price. We were able to get a 5x10 unit near the front on the first level to make off loading that much easier. Try them out for your storage needs and you won't be disappointed.

Friendly service and they make it easy and painless when renting a unit. It's a little pricey, but always well lit and I feel safe going there.

I've had a storage unit here for many years and just recently upgraded to a much larger space. It's convenient, clean, feels secure (as a single woman, that's important to me as it can often be pretty desolate up there) and the staff is incredibly friendly. When I was moving units recently, they were very helpful and found the perfect unit for me. I think that overall their pricing is pretty fair. We've been renting storage space from Claudia for years. She is wonderful! Friendly, helpful, smart, patient...and always remembers us. She has helped us change units and finds us exactly what we are looking for. The location is great, the facility is clean and well kept, secure, and the prices are more than reasonable, especially when you look at other storage companies' facilities and amenities. I strongly recommend ESS Four Mile Run, and am grateful that Claudia is there!
