I will never use this place again, the roof leaked getting water on my finishings. The moisture created mold damaging a fair amount on our belongings. Turned out the roof was leaking due to poor maintaining practices. I didn't get the insurance from the storage unit, even if i did it would not have covered the damage. If you have renters insurance please read the fine print. Personal renters Insurance does not cover negligence. At least State Farm doesn't.

The manager at this Extra Space was cool at first except she turned out to be a liar..... and overall aggressive, unpleasant person. I let here know I would need somewhere I could work on my business inventory and vintage trailer. She said that would be fine. Later she started hassling me about how much time I could be working in my unit during there open hours. So I started getting ready to move out. One day about 3 days before my lease was up. If I could give this PATHETIC business "NEGATIVE Stars" I MOST CERTAINLY would..... There is absolutely NOTHING to say but STAY FAR AWAY.... They WILL NOT contact you back (phone, email or text)..... NEVER in the office.... After TAKING your $$$ and WILL rent to another sucker.... and WILL NOT credit bank account after repeatedly being told its been credited 4X!!!! Rude, dishonest, LIES, LIES, and MORE LIES from the manager (Katrina) and District Manager (Jeff)....

I've had this storage for over a year and I haven't had any issues until the other day . The lady working Sandy is the most rudest and disgusting person I have came in contact with when it comes to customer service . IF YOU LIKE TO BE RACIALLY PROFILED AND HAVE THE COPS CALLED ON YOU BECAUSE YOURE BLACK please come and talk to her . This place has probably been the worse of all time. We moved out and secured our belongings with them. Come to find out as we were moving out and were gathering all our belongings from storage... we found rat droppings scattered throughout our belongings. Today is the final day and I wanted to throw out the belongings that were damaged while stored in their unit. Temecula extra space storage is horrible .. Our storage was broke into and trashed, interestingly no cameras caught anything in-fact the cameras do not cover all the property, management did nothing to help. Others have experienced the same problems .. beware!!!!!!!

YOU CAN'T GET OUT. Went there to inspect a client's stored vehicle and spent 30 minutes trying to get the gates to open and let me out. There are no keypads on the inside, and the gates are locked. (Safety issue?) After deciding not to disassemble the gate to allow me to leave, i finally climbed over the 7 foot, spike topped fence and walked to the keypad outside and manually entered the code to open the gate. I had a storage unit here for almost a year. I went to move and upon unpacking, I discovered that mice had chewed holes in my boxes and there was feces and urine all over my stuff. I had to throw away several items. To make matters worse, I also found five dead mice in one of my boxes. Extra space forced me to purchase insurance for $15 extra a month, but they conveniently don't cover damage by rodents. Now, I am out several hundred dollars for items destroyed due to lack of proper rodent control.

Moving out this week for a couple of reasons. 1. Their boat / rv storage is flooded and is always flooded after it rains. It's now 6-9 inchs deep. I got completely soaked to the shins while dropping off my boat. I asked if they plan to rectify the problem and was told it doesn't rain much. 2. The price you move in with will continue to go up every few months. That's their process. I've had enough.
