I am using the Extra Space storage in Sunland, CA and it has generally worked well and is clean and secure. Elevator is a hassle to use even with the app on the phone, you can call the elevator with your phone app but have a limited amount of time to reenter your code to then be able to go to your floor. I was also very disappointed to have them raise the rental on the unit less than three months after signing a lease, would have expected it after a year but not in less than three months. I have been with Extra Space storage since 2017 and Eduard the store manager and his team (Brenda) are absolutely on top of everything ! They have the best customer service which is hard to find now days, they are always glad to serve and help with anything you need! I am very pleased with the place its self always clean. If you are looking for storage this is the place !

Ray (branch manager) was super helpful finding the unit that met my needs! Units are clean and very secure!
I had come to the location so that the locking mechanism could be changed as it looked like it had been tampered with. But last night I got a notice that the monthly rate was going really high (outside unit that I could drive right up to), so Ray the manager was really helpful and was able to get me a bigger unit that was inside for a much better price. Ray gave me a temporary lock so that I could move everything on one day and not have to worry about stuff being stolen from one locker to the next.
Just witnessed something very rare . A employee named Ray who actually cares about his customers and go the extra mile . Was very impressed he had compassion for a elderly lady who is down on her luck and went above and beyond to help her. In this day and age with the workforce out now it was a breath of fresh air to see somebody with a strong sense of integrity . I hope your owner knows what a jewel you have for a employee ....

I recently visited Extra Space Storage in Sunland with a very unique situation and the store manager Ray Suarez was super helpful. He is very knowledgeable and sympathetic willing to help his customers. This place is super clean and well organized.

Great and professional. Very secure. I like the carts they provide. I even got a little tour from Ray (manager I think?) when I arrived ! The phone service was excellent
