Barbara and the other staff are very friendly, cordial, professional and very helpful! The facility is very clean and temp controlled. Only downside is just one elevator, although wasn't a problem on our 2-day move in.

This place is awesome but Barbara is the reason I keep renewing (seven years now). We have a common storage facility for medical equipment and access is always easy with a secured door and elevator.

Barb is a rock star and keeps this place very tidy, safe, and efficient!! I go there almost everyday and am constantly impressed with the top notch quality that they provide. Extremely convenient location, solid prices, and very good customer service.

The ladies at Extra Space are terrific! They helped me when I lost my key, they even helped me find a new facility when they couldn't accommodate my needs with a large enough storage unit. Great place and great people! Can't say enough!!!!!

This is a great storage facility that was extremely user-friendly for the two months that I needed to store my life between moves. The facility is very clean and easily accessible. Angie, from Extra Space, is incredibly helpful and professional and made the process seamless. I recommend this Extra Space Storage to any future storers out there in Chicago, and will certainly go back in the future if the need arises!

I've never had any problems storing my items at this Extra Space Storage location. They're the least expensive storage facility in the area. The facility is always very clean. My unit is in the basement, but the distance to it has never been an issue. There are always carts right there for you to use to get your stuff to the elevator. I like that it takes 2 keypads plus 2 padlocks (for my unit at least) to access my stuff. I feel like it's secure. I like this place. I mean, how excited can you get about a storage facility? But for some odd reason, it gives me as much warm and fuzzy as a storage place possibly can. The guy who helped me set up my rental was very friendly and explained everything quickly and clearly. He was juggling like ten things at once at the time, so it took him a little longer to get me out of there than he might have otherwise, but that's just how it goes sometimes. I prepaid at $100/month for six months for a unit on the lower level. Three months in, their elevator was out of service for several months. At the 5 month mark, they let me know they'd be doubling my rent to $200/month. Terrible, "I'm just a victim" customer support when you call them on their BS. Avoid this janky place like the plague.

VERY SLIMY BUSINESS. After three months they increased the price from $140 to $250 a month. They know that customers have moved and can't easily jet off to Chicago and move all of their stuff to another location. This should be illegal. I thought Extra Space might be better than Public Storage but it's worse. At least the Public Storage increases are reasonable, like $20, and after a year. Just blatantly taking advantage of people in this case.
