The staff at Extra Space Storage are rude, unprofessional, lazy and not helpful in any way. My fiancée and I went there to buy moving boxes for our move and the staff made this simple process aggravating. Upon arrival the staff members were to busy socializing to greet us and offer their help. We asked them for moving boxes and they just pointed to the boxes they had and did not offer any additional help. We purchased some boxes and left. The front desk attendant was less than happy to help me the day I arrived at my scheduled appointment time to set up my account. It was a Saturday and I walked in on her eating her lunch, which she then had to put down to assist me. She was bothered and not exactly thrilled that I was there. The storage unit that I was given was NOTHING like the website makes it seem. False advertisement at it's best. This place is horrible. The numbering system or storage units makes zero sense. I'm here helping a friend that has not been to their unit in over a year, and we can't find it, and the front desk is no help either.
Customer service is very poor, said they would give me a refund after I changed my mind and didn't move anything in within less than 24 hours of signing lease. Left multiple messages, finally called me back, representative was rude and abrasive. said it wasn;t their policy to issue refunds. Very heartless people over there. My father just passed away and we decided not to move any of his belongings. Heartless unthoughtful just about a dollar place! 0 rating! Used them once before but will NEVER again.....
