Customer service was spot on as soon as we walked in the door. The fact that the staff know what they are doing helps a lot. The facility is super clean and well maintained.
Moving in went without any problems, parking was readily available. Only problem was the non-climate controlled units does not have a centralized location for moving carts. People leave them all over the place. Initially I had to look all over for one, finally found one in the elevator at another bay from my locker. It's such an inconvenience that I kept my own folding cart in my unit to avoid the hassle.

Wow! Not happy at all with Extra Space Storage in Kapolei. Back on Dec 19 or 20, I left two very nice Christmas decorations (sort of like nutcrackers with lights) in the hallway near my storage unit with a sign on it saying it was free to anyone who wanted them. Didn't want to throw them out because they were pretty unique for Christmas decorations. The manager alleges one of his people called my home and left a message that I needed to remove these items within 24hrs or I would be charged a removal fee. My wife said th... read more
I have always paid for my rent in person and pay cash, covid made things difficult but it is getting better.
