Having dealt with various storage units, I never thought I would write a five-star review for a storage unit company until now. I am happy in every way with the service and facilities that Extra Space Storage provided. After reading the very positive reviews for this facility, I decided to check it out in person when I was back in Sacramento for a brief visit (before my permanent move back). The location was not only super-convenient for where I was going to be, I instantly liked the staff, the brightness of the buildings... read more

I've stored things here for the past two years and this facility has always been top notch. Not only do they have plenty of storage spaces at reasonable prices but when I moved my stuff into the unit-they had a truck that I could use which really helped to make my move a lot easier. The place is always clean and there are hand carts and elevators to make things easy for you. The staff has never been anything less than friendly and I have been nothing less than a happy customer.

Great service, Jenna and Reuben were both helpful in my storage needs. Literally received calls from both of them within 30min from reserving online. It is clean...you can believe the reviews on that!!! easily accessible, great rates.

The employees are very helpful and friendly. The storage units are clean. The best part: Get storage underground and get free climate control. Being underground, the temperature is nice and cool.

If you are even slightly late when paying the bill they will threaten and harass you by saying they will liquidate the stuff you stored. Save your time and effort and don't bother with these creatures.

I'm extremely disappointed in the ongoing rate manipulation and lack of transparency at Extra Space Storage. When we moved into our unit in January 2024, we were paying $70.60. Just four months later, our rate was increased to $124.60. Then, in January 2025, we received yet another massive increase to $249.20--more than triple our original rate within a single year. I expressed my concerns in a review at the time, and the manager, Kristina, reached out and offered a different unit on a higher floor for $89.60. While the mov... read more

1. Your billing rate will change and they will send mail to inform you of this. 2. My unit was burglarized - the lock mechanisms/door jams are cheap and easily bent with a crow bar, rendering any lock useless. If you decide to be here, do not be anywhere near an entrance or access point. 3. I left them two messages requesting more information about the burglary and no one ever called me back. 4. There is someone living on the first floor.
