I haven't been there for a year and my rent is already going up $19!?!?! And same with another yelp reviewer... I reserved a 10x10, but I wasn't told till the last min that I was getting two units. Which is NOT convenient when you have large pieces to store. The only reason I stay is because it is very close to where I live.

This is the WORST storage facility I have ever had. The assistant manager is RUDE!! Her name is shayna or something. She is the last straw on a long list of complaints. When we first started renting here, our 5x10 unit was 59.99 a month. That was about a year and a half ago. Now it is 89.99, and we were just informed it was going to go up to 100 a month. My friend and I made a reservation of a 10'x10' unit at the Livermore facility via Extra Space Storage. We completed the reservation, #1001690295, and paid $10 as a deposit to guarantee the price and availability. My friend went to check out the place today (July 26, 2013) as the move is scheduled for tomorrow (July 27, 2013). However, she was told she would be getting two 5'x10' units (separated by hallway). I wish I had never come here. The facility is decent, no complaints there, but they get you to join at a decent rate and then raise prices significantly ever year. They raised my rates approximately 50% in only 4 years! They know it's a pain to move once you have your things stored and packed away in their facility, and they use this to take advantage. Avoid them!
