I have used this pet clinic for many years and used to love Dr Gwen and Dr Ford and their staff. Well, they have apparently been bought by some company that cares more about money than pets. I will NEVER use them again and I caution all pet owners. I took the day off from work to take my little dog in for a teeth cleaning. We arrived at 7:30 as requested. I took my 9 year old Doxie there for a teeth cleaning and was really caught off guard with the outcome. I was told they would call me during surgery and discuss whether my dog needed extractions. The first call I got was after he was out of surgery and while I was thankful he was well they told me he still needed 3 extractions. He had bad teeth and many came out during the cleaning. This clinic injured my cat severly by means of a thoughtless accident.After being groomed my cat was brought out to me in his carrier, the carrier was placed on a counter top approximately 4 ft. high, the carrier was imbalanced and fell from the counter with a huge crash, landing end side up. The staff at Grapevine Family Pet Clinic pulled a bait and switch on my wife and I!! We found the clinic in the low cost ads on Craigslist. My wife took our sick dog into the clinic first thing on 4/19/14 for the "FREE" vet exam... when my wife arrives the staff informs her that their is NO free exam that day! I will be looking for a new vet clinic to attend. We drop off our cat here for grooming because it's convenient and close to home. I've been using this clinic for 6 years now and the past year has become more difficult.
