Took my daughter here yesterday because her pediatrician was out for the day. We appeared to be the only patients when we arrived and once we were taken back we saw the NP pretty quickly. Lisa was great, thorough and had a good interaction with my daughter. When she left the room she said they'd be right back with a prescription, note for school and a slushie. Then we waited an hour! It is the fast food drive thru of doc-in-a-box - nurse practitioner in a box. When a patient tells you what medication works best for them and why - LISTEN TO THEM!! You don't know their history. We come to you as a band-aid when our regular provider can't squeeze us in. After being given the wrong antibiotic and the ailment got worse, I called back to tell them the antibiotic that I originally requested needed to be called in. My daughter went on weekday and was treated for strep. She returned on the weekend with her 15 month old with the same symptoms and they gave him nothing. Weekday staff and doctors were much better than weekend staff on this particular occasion. Made a great first impression and then got what I usually expect on second visit with them.
Waited from 10:50 to 12:50 next time I will just go to the emergency room
I took my 18 month old son in for an injured arm/hand, they did X-rays and barely examined him. They didn't find any breaks and told us it was a sprained wrist. After 2 more days of him not getting any better, I took him to his pediatrician and he determined it was nursemaids elbow (dislocated radial head). He popped it back into place and after a loud cry he was instantly better and using his arm & hand again. I'm very upset my son got a wrong diagnosis and had to go 3 days in pain, we will not be back.
Not to long of a wait. On site xray. The nurse forgot to use the thermometer cover then tried pretending they did. They tried putting the pulse ox. On the finger I needed xrayed.
I took someone in after a good wait and filling out all the paperwork, (btw they kept with personal info) was til they couldn't be seen unless the change their pcp to them, so I took them to TEAM URGENT CARE behind taco bell and was seen with no problem and fast. I will never use them or refer anyone to them.
