Well I can't say i've ever enjoyed going here, but every time i have ended up here it was an emergency and they took good care of me and kept me out of the hospital. I think i'm up to 3 visits now. I have a $50 copay to this place, but a $500 copay to an ER. So yeah, I'm gong to try this first. There is usually a 15-20 minute wait (same at my reg doc). I recently took my teenager here for possible strep throat and while they were good , they seemed to run a lot of tests instead of just strep and I know why now that I got the bill and my portion after my insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield) paid their portion is going to be almost $300 !! The visit alone was $270. Just be aware of what it could cost you especially if you go on the weekend like I did.

Quick, friendly and clean! I have been to 2 Fast Meds and have recommended them to friends after each experience...with Fast Med, the stress of being sick is much simpler!

Had a completely great experience from calling ahead to going in. Was seen quickly and had excellent service by my nurse, Red, and the PA, Robert Paul. Took xrays quickly and diagnosed me. Highly recommend!!
My appointment was at 3:30, I was not seen until 4:10pm when I went up to the desk to ask when I would be seen since I was sitting there for 40 minutes. I wonder how long I would have waited if I didn't speak up, what's the point of making an appointment if it's not honored? Besides that, Chris the doctor is very good and informative and genuine! He should find a new place to work!!
Had an appointment scheduled for 10:10am today. I am still sitting in the waiting area at 11:36am. After speaking with the receptionist I was informed that this FastMed location is short staffed and they absolutely do not honor appointment times. This will inevitably be my first and very LAST visit to this business located at 11491 US 70 Business in Clayton, North Carolina. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.
I needed to get a hepatitis B shot for my job and I called beforehand to see if they could and the woman on the phone told me they could. I get there with my paperwork my supervisor gave me and the woman at the front desk takes the paperwork and says "who gave you this?" with an attitude. When I told her my supervisor she was like this needs to be signed even though it has her name at the bottom. There is a way to talk to people and she clearly doesn't know how to do that. I just left the urgent care at 10:30am today and I was treated like I was the problem at her job. Don't know her name but I know she was working today 10:30am today and talking me while raising her voice because I needed a signature for my tb test. I've never been to an urgent care where you get tests and there is no signature to be found. Correct me if I am wrong. The staff take over half an hour just to check you the computer system. Further, the front desk act like they're doing you a favor by assisting you. Stay away!
