Scheduled an appointment and came in at my appointment time to be told it'd be an hour an a half wait, which would be quarter hour to closing time (if I was seen at all). In addition, there wasn't enough seating in the waiting room for me if I'd have chosen to wait and the receptionist seemed like she didn't want to be there. Woke up sick at 8am, tried to call this location 4 times with no answer. By 10:30 I decided to go online to make an appointment. 1st appointment available 4:30pm. I get here at 4:15 to be told it's going to be at least an hour to an hour and a half. At 5:30 I go in to make sure they haven't forgotten me. I'm told it will be at least another half hour to an hour more. This is totally unacceptable and cruel to sick people. I really hate this location. It's an urgent care but they never accept walk ins. Front desk staff rude. Drs rude. SHUT THIS LOCATION DOWN
Slow service & they billed me for something that my school was paying for . The correct documentation and authorization was provided to the receptionist in order for her/them to NOT make this mistake . And, to top it off I've called several times no answer not professional. I will let my school deal with this incompetent receptionist/staff.
FastMed Urgent Care advertises "NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED" all over their website and location doors. I've now had 3 experiences with 3 different locations where I've been denied service and been told I can't be seen because they're "short staffed" but they can make me an appointment for another day. These experiences were spaced out over 2 years, for different issues (leg laceration/stitches, COVID test and x-ray/tetanus shot) and at 3 different locations (Hwy 42 in Garner, Hwy 70 in Garner and Goldsboro, NC). I would literally rather set myself on fire than receive treatment at another fast med. I would honestly suggest my colleagues visit a back alley healthcare provider to perform an intricate and invasive surgery with rusty tools than receive treatment from your facility and staff. As far as feedback is concerned, I would recommend doing your fucking jobs and providing a level of healthcare that is above a fifth grader pretending to play doctor. Also, fire the PA in the boot. I brought my 18 year old son in for a serious foot injury for both care and X-rays. My son is on my insurance. He filled out the required paperwork then was asked for ID. We said he doesn't have an ID yet. They refused us Care. A former Marine was next to me and had the same issue with his daughter at the same time. The manager told us to leave. This place was horrendous! I am a 6'2 male, came in. Test says im 5'9. Not even to mention the long waiting, we had an appointment for 12:45 and we got in at 3:12, never coming here again. This place is horrible, and deserves 0 stars. only put one star because thats all i can do, would've been -5.
I had a 9:15 appointment. It has come to my understanding that appointments don't matter. I got here at 8:30, and there was no doctor. After waiting we get in and start registering (I registered last night online) and I don't know what I had to do it again. Patients are starting to be seen and 2 hours later we are still sitting here. People who got here after me are going in before me. This place is terribly slow.
