Was a little nervous after reading reviews but we went on Valentine's day and the service was great! The service was knowledgeable and attentive and two managers came over to check on us. The meal included free chocolate covered strawberries! Food was great and we would definitely go back.
We make a point of stopping in to Fiorella's with almost every visit to the National Harbor area just for their pizza. Fun location in the harbor and kid friendly.
Loved the flatbread pizza and the energy of the restaurant. The wait staff was very attentive . The entrees needed more authentic Italian seasoning.
The food was OK, just a little bland. Our server was excellent - very attentive, came back to the table for water, dessert, etc. Never had to wait. Very happy with the evening.
The food, service and ambiance were all good, but like all restaurants at National Harbor, the prices are pretty exorbitant for being so far away from DC. A while back, the food was just as good and the prices were better. I'm not sure what happened there.
The open faced lasagne was one of the tastiest dishes Ive ever had. It was lots of food that was cooked perfectly and great flavor. The presentation was awesome as well. I was a little less wowed by the dessert but it was good.
I brought my wife, mother, and daughters (3 yr old and 3 mo old) to Fiorella Italian Kitchen for dinner after visiting the ICE exhibit at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. We had a reservation, they took us, and seated us as soon as arrived (around 10 minutes prior to our reservation). Right out of the gate, we could tell the service was going to be a little spotty. Food and service were excellent. The margherita pizza was perfect. Fresh, authentic food. We also stop here when we're in National Harbor.
I really wanted to love this place, I selected it to celebrate my Mom's birthday, but unfortunately everything was mediocre. The server did do very well, he was a very nice guy. The food/experience just wasn't as good as it should have been. And our table was the first seated in front of the door so we froze through our whole meal. Hopefully if we ever try it again it will be a better experience all around...
