Darren and his team were awesome to work with!! When dealing with Emergency Services, it can be a frightening experience. Nothing is cheap and you have little time to shop around. I noticed water and mold damage directly behind our water heater on a Saturday, during the 3 day President's Day weekend at about 11AM. If you are looking for the best service, Darren is the one to call. He and his team recently did a mold cleanup job at our home in Lakewood. They were professional, courteous, cared about their work and arrived on time! Darren went above and beyond to help us with all the details we needed to keep the mold from returning. He also gave us excellent referrals to other contractors and will be returning to help us get our home ready to put on the market. Definitely a five-star business.
I had water leak in the bathroom shower wall last year . It was a weekend and many plumbers are closed. When I called Fix My Home , Darren got here immediately and get to work . He found the issues with mold growing behind the walls and able to do mold remediation . He is certified and gave me a great details info about mold testing . Darren lived up to the reviews of others here on Yelp. He was prompt, explained exactly what he was doing, took extra care to protect us and our belongings, and negotiated with the insurance company to get us a fair settlement. His crew was polite and efficient. A prime example of the personal service a family-owned business offers. I would use his water and mold recovery again, though I hope I will not need it.
Highly recommend!!! Before having our baby we wanted to be sure our air quality was good and our home was mold free. We found Darren on yelp and he came same day to inspect our home, he sent out the results for further testing and pinpointed where the mold was and what kind it was. Super friendly guy, we got a great deal with his yelp promo and we found it extremely convenient that he also arranged for the mold to be removed and the walls be patched up and back to normal before baby arrived. Ugh where do I start...I've never been less enthused to leave a five star review, why? Because I have mold :( I became suspicious that there was mold present in my apartment when my sons where CONSTANTLY sick. I mean runny noses, puffy eyes, lethargic year round. I fully 100% recommend Fix My Home. Darren and his team really helped me out in a bind. My condo had a leak from a faulty faucet supply line which flooded half of my upstairs and leaked down to my lower flowers. Darren took the emergency call and met at my unit and provide an accurate estimate. Each of his team members were courteous and well mannered. They work hard to get the job completed before HOA stop time. Darren personally visited my unit every following day ensure everything was dry and mold free.
