Fix My Home (Darren) exceeds every company I called in knowledge, skill, service, promptness, and in honesty!! They are more than fairly priced!! My bathroom needed to be gutted and was completely remediated. Because of Darrens background in construction & asbestos he understands more than most companies do when demolition is done and in regards to air quality & testing. Darren and his crew were great! Professional, friendly and thorough. I appreciated that Darren came out to see the property soon after calling him and accommodated my schedule to do the work in my house. If you have had water damage and/or are worried about mold, FMH is the company to call.
Darren and the crew are quick, thorough, and also fantastic guys. They helped me deal with a leak in our nursery and handled insurance stuff too. Darren always made me feel like I was his most important client even though I knew his business was slammed. I trusted my daughters room's construction with him and he and the crew certainly came through! HIGHLY recommend Fix My Home.
Darren took a complicated job and made it simple. Knowing that our insurance wouldn't cover the job, he first did everything he could to try to get the insurance to cover. When that didn't work, he was sympathetic and did everything he could to make it as financially unburden-some as possible. He and his crew were very professional! This company is AWESOME!!! Darren took my call on a Sunday, and stopped by my house about an hour later. He tested some areas and found extreme moisture levels in a few areas. He arrived with his team a couple days later (he was very booked due to the week long rain storm). They took air samples and contained the areas with high levels of moisture, and used industrial grade equipment to dry out the wet areas. I had a nasty case of mold in my home. I have 2 kids and as you know, mold and kids = easily a no. Darren and his son alec arrived to do an inspection and take a mold sample. It involves testing, remediation, lab results, and sometimes rebuilding. I found Fix My Home on yelp and had gathered some estimates from other local companies. I discovered mold on my ceiling while removing popcorn, and called Darren after a quick yelp search. He was able to come out the next morning to inspect the ceiling, and found mold in several places. He came out the following day (on a Sunday!) with his inspection gear, and took surface and airborne samples.
