I knew that I probably had a mold problem in my guest bedroom since the outdoor area outside the guest bedroom would flood during heavy rainstorms. We called this group to do the water damage mitigation from a slab leak. It felt as though their main concern was that we get through the experience as quickly as possible and with as saving as much of our current walls, cabinetry and flooring as possible. They gave us the scary "Nightmare on MY Street" scenario and a reasonable expectancy scenario, telling us it would be somewhere in between. I had a water pipe burst under my house resulting in a flooded foundation. Plumbers would not do the needed repairs until a water restoration company completely dried out the foundation. So happy FMH was referred to us by a friend! Darren, Barrett, Alec and Oscar were all excellent with communication, professionalism, courtesy and servicing our concerns from start to finish! I hired Fix My Home for a limited mold testing and microbial testing. Darren gave me an impressive 1-hr window for an ETA. Barrett got here at the beginning of it. Barrett was professional, knowledgeable, and a clear communicator. I appreciated that he wasn't a robot that just came and went. He saw that I was very concerned and stopped his inspection to assure me that my family was safe (I teared up). I had a small leak in one of my bathrooms that leaked down into the garage, which I had mold build up through the sub-floor and ceiling of the garage because neglected to take of this issue quickly. As first time homeowners, it's hard to know what to look for when it comes to things like mold or plumbing.
