Our first experience was so good that we used Fix My Home a second time. And yet again, 5 star service! They were able to help us identify that there was a long standing leak going on, coming in from outside the building during rain. They took additional steps to help us verify and document this so that we could go back to our HOA to have them take care of the source of the leak (that's it's own separate nightmare that I'll go ahead and keep to myself...). Outstanding small business. Can't recommend Darren and his company enough. We needed their help because he had an unknown water leak that resulted in the need for mold remediation services. FMH came, gave an estimate, started work, wore booties on their shoes and prepped the work area with plastic and necessary materials to protect floors and everything else. Kept everything immaculate. My home was affected by a pretty bad water leak from the rain storms. Mold was found in three of the rooms and some of the flooring. After getting the environmental testing done, Fix My Home mold remediation did a great job of removing the affected areas of drywall and flooring. The containments they set up were very organized and they came by every morning to check the moisture levels. The heavy rain storms this past winter season caused major water damage due to water pooling from a sump pump malfunction. Luckily, we found Fix My Home for remediation of the water damage. Darren and his team were very professional. The remediation included a great deal of demo including drywalls, hardwood floors, and door casings. If you end up needing this kind of service, FMH is fantastic. They take pictures to document how the extensive water damage entered multiple areas. They also show how this company actually took the necessary precautions to do the job correctly (isolation, PPE, disposal, etc.). The post-remediation testing results show that they actually solved the issue. When you're a first-time homebuyer, there are things that you don't think about could happen to your home. FMH came through for us in more ways than one. Awesome work. We bought a house with old water damage and mold. They did an awesome job ripping everything out and getting it ready to rebuild. Pricing seemed fair. Nothing over the estimate. Recommended a very nice contractor to handle the rebuild when they were done. This isn't a service you hope you ever need, but definitely a good company.
