They were great. I was held up because of hurricane Sandy and I was able to reschedule. The staff was wonderful to work with. They were on time and everything they said would happen did happen. It was easy to get in touch with them. The service was perfect. The movers were polite and I could not have asked for better service.

FlatRate was recommented by three people: two building supers and a real estate broker. My move occured over two days because there were three pick-up locations on the first day and thenfinal delivery at one location the next day. Two men arrived on time the first day; they worked quickly andefficiently and completed the firstmove in Manhattan in the morning, and the second two in Connecticut in the afternoon. My experienced was mixed. The estimator was extremely professional, responsive and knowledgeable. My move was a large one and the estimate was fair and competitive. The packers/movers themselves were not as good. They complained frequently about the size of the job (angling for a good tip no doubt), they did not finish packing one room - I had to call them back to the apartment to finish, and, when I unpacked everything at my new place, there was an unacceptable amount of damage. Our experience with them was very good. Their price was reasonable. I liked that they explained everything and they were true to their word. Their responsiveness and punctuality were very good. We've had no difficulties. I would recommend them highly.

They did well and we were happy with their services. They were professional. Their prices were more above average and it was worth it. They were not expensive. It was worth giving the customer service and how they handled everything.

Moving crew packed up fragile items--mirrors, framed pictures, TV, computer, lamps--wrapped furniture, mattresses and garden equipment. They reinforced the wrapping on some of our boxes.They moved and stored items for about 2 months until we located our new home on the west coast. The window for delivery was about three weeks and they were unable to give us a precise delivery date until about 48 hours prior to delivery. The crew was very professional and courteous. They worked quickly and diligently. None of our belongings were damaged. After about an hour of work I made sure to give them a 10% tip. I gave them another 10% at the end of the job because they performed so well.
