Forest Hills Cat Hospital was founded in 1974 by Dr. Jay Luger. In the mid 1970′s the idea of a cat’s only hospital was revolutionary because small animal practices were primarily dog-centric. During that period there were less than a handful of feline only practices. Nowadays there are more than 200 feline only practices in the US. I have enjoyed over 47 years of careful, caring service between Dr. Luger and his subsequent partners, every single excellent vet technician, some who have been with the practice since they started their careers. I prefer a cats-only veterinarian since there is less stress for the cats. Having also had several cats who had congenital conditions, some very serious. They are so nice and reassuring! Especially as a first time cat owner! I am currently boarding my cat with them. I was nervous to leave him for the first time with people other than family. But they assured me that I can call every day to check in on him. Freddie has been going here since he was a few months old. He is now a year and a half. ❤️

Forest Hills Hospital is excellent in caring for my cat Sophia . Sophia is 13 months old she had been fixed and received her kitten shots . Now I take her for nails to b cut . The technician who cut her nails was very gentle . I would recommend Forest Hills Cat Hospital for anyone who has a Cat . Very professional, clean, pleasant atmosphere.
