Came soliciting door-to-door. High pressure sales tactics. Sales rep says I have carpenter ants, then technician comes and says they are pavement ants that come out when the weather warms up. I'm still not convinced that this is a legitimate business. Check out their website- then check out Fox Pest websites in Rhode Island and Texas- same website, even some of the same staff photos, just the name of the city is different.

If I could give this business a 0/5 stars I would. They have been knocking on doors all across town being sketchy. If anyone wanted their services, they would simply call. No need to solicit your business that is not wanted or needed.

Knocked on my door and asked me if my neighbors had told me that he would be coming by... I said "No" and he proceeded to tell me that the neighborhood was infested with Carpenter ants, Wasps and some other things and that the neighbors were all getting pest treatments and that if I opted in it would be part of a group rate. I asked if he had any information I could go over with my husband - he didn't (who goes door to door to sell service and has NO material they can give people to look over). Tom was...well...terrific! He explained what he was going to do, answered our questions (we have cats and dogs on the premises, so of course we wanted reassurances) and then went about doing it quietly and efficiently. The last time we needed extermination services, we have to leave the house for the day and take the pets with us. Massively inconvenient. Fox uses a completely different approach and it was completely non-disruptive to our day.
