My loved one is a resident at Pacifica Senior Living Fresno. The staff is AMAZING! However, it's the new owners that are failing. The carpets are nasty and should be replaced like we were told at the time of our sign up. Their staff is way over worked. The new owners don't treat them very well and staff are leaving and they aren't hiring more people to replace them. The food quality and portion sizes are going down hill FAST! Overall, nice. Meals lacking. Too much grease, Hispanic food, cockroaches (saw 1 in kitchen area.) Maintenance poor, housekeeping weak (lackluster). Overall, appears they are trying to save money such that it compromises residents needs/comforts. Staff good with few exceptions. Lots of residential complaints. I am comfortable for cost. Affordable, yet overall I would not recommend if you can afford more. Unprofessional and extremely cheap on repairs and maintenance issues. My mom can't live with me for various reasons. Pacifica offers a variety of assisted living support that similar places do not offer. They are is taking good care on my mom.

I would tell them to definitely visit it and see if it meets the needs of your family member. Overall it has been a great place for my mom. I just wish they would accommodate her dietary needs.

What sticks out the most to us about Pacifica Senior Living Freso is: the helpful and caring staff members as well as the great shuttle service that is provided. The residents here also seem to be happy. The room sizes here are very nice. My loved one also had a friend who lived here as well, which is a main reason he decided on Pacifica.

We like the fact that it's light and airy. She has a nice view from her second floor window, which was really important to her. She also has an extra room, so she doesn't have to have her TV in her bedroom. She has some paintings hung in that extra room as well, and having that extra space makes her feel more like she's home vs. just living in a bedroom. The staff has been great. The people we met on our tour were very nice. They just wanted to put us into assisted living, and independent living is a better fit for us. We are both younger, still in our 70s, and I thought their pool was inadequate. And the activities were nice, but they were geared toward people who were more handicapped.

The community is very clean and the staff members are very nice. The activities are opening back up which is nice, and they have opened back up the dining room. The food is not very good at all, but since we can eat in the dining room I am able to meet new people and have made a bunch of new friends. They take really good care of us and I am very happy here.

I toured this community today and thought that it was nice. They did a tour with me over FaceTime to keep me safe and they really did a good job showing me around. [name removed] was the person touring and she seemed to really care about me and the situation.
