This is the absolute worst military housing we have ever lived in. We have had issues with insects, rodents and now snakes. We have 9 people (two adults and 7 kids) living in under 1300. We don’t have a dining room because we had to use it as a bedroom. But apparently we should ignore all that because they do candy giveaways and community events. Heads up! Housing was extremely hard when clearing final inspection today. He charged us for not opening up the actual vent covers and vacuuming all the way down them. I know the darn vents weren't clean when we moved since I had to call maintance to clean the dryer ones within a month of moving in. we are pretty clean people and kept up really well with our house and they still hit us with a $200 cleaning fee. If you want the best schools in Kansas, beautiful green space, nature, and wonderful neighbors this is the place for you. BUT you will have ensure that you will have to initiate everything for your home. You will have to ensure maintenance does the job right, as it is rarely done correctly the first time. Their are good people in housing, but they are constrained by management to do right. Old houses, very dirty, trash in yard, garage not pressured wash, we just moved in, kitchen dirty with grime!
If you like paying for overpriced mold-infested houses this is the place for you! Don't worry about your health, Frontier Heritage Communities only supplies its residence with "safe mold". On a serious note do yourself and your family a favor and run away from this housing as fast as you can!
