Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY or Teachers Federal Credit Union to finance or lease a car. My current auto guy trying to find me a new car warned me that Teachers uses Fusion and that he NEVER finances any of his customers through them. He told me even though you might save a little every month, I would regret it in the end. Good luck trying to get into contact with anyone there. It’s not gonna happen.
They make it impossible to get a lease buy out letter when you refuse to finance with them. Rude and unprofessional customer service from Karen the Manager at the Farmingdale office. From her tone of voice to the way she answers you and speaks down to you and then threatens to hang up the phone when you match her disrespectful tone.
Completely misrepresented end of lease agreement. Got me to return vehicle a month early and then after it was returned charged me the lease payment. Smugly told it's a 39 month lease. Crooks.
Was not pleased with lease return process. Was looking to buyout lease by financing balloon payment but they requested I pay market value instead of end of lease payment amount. A difference of $6K. Instead of an appreciative customer and a continued customer relationship I will return vehicle at end of the month and will stay away from Fusion in the future. Would recommend going elsewhere if your dealership uses Fusion to finance.
Fusion is the worst leasing company I ever dealt with in the past 20 years.
Beware of Fusion, whether you are buying out your lease or returning the vehicle. Their standard lease agreement has multiple provisions that stand in direct contradiction to federal and state law. For example, their waiver of the right to a jury trial and claims as against Fusion are void pursuant to New York State's Motor Vehicle Registration Act and they will attempt to charge you a "Doc Fee" if you buy out your lease that is not specifically listed in the Lease Agreement in contravention of the federal Consumer Leasing ... read more
If you want to trade in your car prior to oease end at a dealer of your choice, they do not allow the dealer to payoff the remaining balance and payoff. They want many thousands of dollars more from the dealer. We have been told this by many new car dealers. Fusion wants the equity. Make sure if you are leasing a new car you check and make sure Fusion is not who the lease is with.
