We paid auto fusion for our lease buyout 30 days ago and are told that the title is processing but the bank still shows that no payment has been made to resolve the debt and are now charging late fees. Where is our money you received on 8/30? How can the tittle be processing if the bank was t even paid yet?

Business response:

Hi there, Jodi Young ! I'm glad we were able to chat yesterday and ease some of your concerns. Due to the impact of COVID-19, there have been unexpected changes within the automotive industry. Our lease buyout volumes have increased exponentially and we are working around to clock to process all transactions in a timely fashion. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your continued patience! Should you have any additional questions, feel free to contact me directly. The worst leasing company I've ever dealt with. the refused to let the dealer close my lease by paying off so I can buy a new vehicle. costimg me $2,000 in taxes and having to pay full tax on new vehicle. And now i have to wait another weeks to get my title signed. This place just f***s their customers.

Be more knowledgeable of the lease continuation for vehicles. I didn't want to give up the car but not one person knew what it took to carry on with my lease. I ended up getting a new car (which is nice) but I would have opted to keep this one if it made sense. There was a really high disposition fee too. So I paid 1,000 to give up the car of my dreams. Very dissatisfied. 😭

Generally good return experience but was stuffed with repair cost to a few rim scuffs while the rest of the car was in great condition. much lower than the milieage piad. I even got the rim insurance and they dont honor it. This is additional like addtional 1000$ i've paid for nothing.

So we extended a lease with Fusion and now it is time to bring it to an end. We are a little over mileage so we figured we’d buy it out and sell it on the open market. We called for a payoff, which was $16,068. Okay fine and fair, as it is all the terms Outlined in the lease agreement. We then decide to have a dealer purchase it to make it easier. We were SHOCKED to find that the dealer cost was $1,200 more. Allow me to explain... FUSION is betting on the fact that their client cannot buy the car outright and will ‘rescue... read more

Overall I have had a decent experience. I have used them in the past. Their disposition fees are higher than other banks. I had minimal wear with a lot of equity in the car and I still got charges for minimal wear and tear.

Business response:

Dear Jason, We are sorry that you feel the amount you were billed for excess wear and tear was unfair. Any charges that occurred as a result of your vehicle inspection are at wholesale prices and are only for returning your leased vehicle back to its expected condition. Fusion does not make money on excess wear and tear charges. As you will see in the documents that were sent to you, a pre-inspection is also offered to all our customers. This gives you the chance to learn of any chargeable wear and tear before your return ... read more

Employees were great and polite! However I’ve been leasing cars for the past 25 years give or take and take excellent care of my cars and never ever had to pay one red cent for any of them at the end of the lease. Always took my car directly to dealer and never heard from them about the car again. Because of this I will never lease another Jeep again and only will I deal with GMC or any other that has their own financing. The auto I turned in aside from only minor cosmetic defects considering it was over six years old also w... read more

Business response:

Dear Bruce, We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. We have always made it a priority to be completely transparent throughout the entire vehicle inspection process. As per your signed lease agreement, each member returning a leased vehicle must pay for any excess wear and tear. You can also reference the documents we sent you before your return date that define what chargeable wear and tear is. If you have any further questions regarding these policies, you can reach me at (631) 232-2500. Thank you, Fusi... read more
